In Grade 9 Math we continued our work on Integers:

  • positive and negative
  • how to add and subtract them
  • studied what parts might confuse us
  • how to enter values correctly into a calculator
  • watched an interesting video clip about "zero"
  • You all have duotangs/modules to help you progress in math, please ask questions when you need to!
Coming up in Math:  multiplication and division with integers.  Modelling the operations.

In Grade 9 Science we have continued our work on Matter and Chemical Change:



  • How to use the periodic table
  • Trends in the periodic table
  • What the periodic table means
  • Physical and chemical properties
  • Physical changes and chemical changes (reactions)
