Hello all,

Good work this week. We are continuing our push through the book and looking at some of the key issues that Canadians face and the structures that we have to address them. This week we looked at immigration and the reasons that it is an issue. We looked at the history of immigration in Canada from paying for people to come to the Chinese head tax. We also looked at the modern point system required to apply for a work permit. We also looked at some of the contemporary issues with immigration in relation to the charter of rights and freedoms and collective rights. We will continue with economic systems next week.
